Phrudocentra centrifugaria demonstrates a sexual dimorphism in the wing markings, with females often displaying red-ringed cream-colored spots on both the forewing and hindwing (see above). These spots may vary considerably in size between different individuals or populations. Phrudocentra centrifugaria is found in Florida and the Caribbean, and has been collected in the Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico.
