Nemoria obliqua (Hulst, 1898). [7037]

Larvae reared ex ova, parent female collected 13 Aug. 2006, High Rolls, Otero Co., New Mexico. Larvae reared on Rhus trilobata show extensive black and white marbling on gold background.

Bright orange ovum of Nemoria obliqua, below at left. Actual egg dimenson approx. 0.8 mm across longest width.
