| Nemoria extremaria female,
at left, showing red front, broad, white interantennal fillet, and red
legs. Traces of a few red scales at wing vein endings in the location
where a red terminal line is commonly found may be a useful diagnostic
characteristic -these are typically only visible under a microscope.
Some specimens of Nemoria
extremaria show bright pink

is a very small Florida species resembling Nemoria elfa. |
