Nemoria albilineata, final instar larva, green form, reared ex ovum on Rhus . Parent female collected Ft. Davis,  Jeff Davis Co., TX, March 2010. Nemoria albilineata, final instar larva, brown form, reared ex ovum on Quercus leaves and catkins. Parent female collected Ft. Davis,  Jeff Davis Co., TX, March 2010. Nemoria albilineata, pupa, 1 day prior to adult emergence. Adult female eclosed several hours later. Note extensive red pigmentation at wing fringe.
At left, new ova of Nemoria festaria attached to oak leaf surface. Egg color often changes slightly with time, especially in the 1-2 days immediately prior to larval emergence.
