Lophochorista lesteraria, cotype, Grossbeck, collected Santa Catalina Mtns, AZ,  collection of the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH).

Lophochorista is a genus of distinctively marked moths related to Eueana, of which only one species has been described from the USA. The image above depicts a Mexican Lophochorista species. It may be compared to the image of L. lesteraria from the Smithsonian on Bruce Walsh's website, as seen here:
