Chlorochlamys appellaria Pearsall, 1911. [7073]

Chlorochlamys appellaria larva on Lantana; Larvae were reared to adults on Lantana  flowers [Verbenaceae] and Ageratum flowers [Asteraceae] though these are not natural host plants. Larva above reared ex ova, parent female collected Coronado NF, Cochise Co., AZ, 15-Aug-2006. Chlorochlamys appellaria  from same parent female as larva at left.
