Nemoria rubrifrontaria (Packard, 1873). [7047]

Nemoria rubrifrontaria female, collection of Acad. of Nat. Sci. (ANSP).

Nemoria rubrifrontaria has abdominal markings very similar to those of N. bistriaria--white spots on A1, A3, and A4 encircled with a reddish brown ring of scales. Nevertheless,  N. rubrifrontaria is distinctive in its absence of red terminal line, and a wing fringe that is typically rose to pink colored, especially near the apex of the forewing and near the anal angle of the hind wing.
